But the situation is not hopeless. I'm on the move to teaching young people about this Credit Game before they become their parents. I'm actually excited about the prospect of saving young lives from a lifetime of credit disasters.

Parents tend to want to keep their financial business a secret from their kids. Schools don't teach kids about credit in-depth like they should. So the kids don't learn the truth about how it works, and their environment, which is full of predatory lenders, becomes their teachers.

Since it's impossible to find a company that warns consumers Away from their products and services, it's a pretty safe bet to say they aren't warning young people to be responsible about whether they should even try/apply to get credit with them, especially since inquiries count against you. It a shame, but it's the truth. Parents and Schools could at least try to prevent them from entering this vicious cycle.
